I've been so MIA from blogging it's ridiculous, and for that you all have my sincerest apologies. It has been a crazy year and this month might just be the craziest yet, in fact I guarantee it will be and it's only four days into it. Without going into too much detail since my personal life is indeed private, it's been an emotional rollercoaster. I've had high highs and very low lows; ambiguity ftw.
On a lighter note, I met a Xangan who was my first real friend on Xanga last weekend and it was pretty awesome. It confirms my faith in people when you get to know someone without meeting them in person for awhile, and when you finally get the chance to know them in person, they're exactly who you they said they were, and I don't mean their physical identity. I can't speak for him but I had fun and was genuinely happy to finally hang out with him. It was a great experience and can't wait to see him again sometime this summer. <3
The Celtics and Bulls played quite possibly the most exciting and best playoff series in NBA history, and the advancement of my boys in green to the second round only made it that much sweeter. Hate all you want on them, I represent my hometown with anabashed pride. So glad I went to Game 5, and turns out a lot of people I know went to the same game, including my brother. Guess we all realized the significance of being a part of history in the making =p. Round Two with the Magic starts tonight and I am amped. My Ray Allen jersey is set to be clad and represent my favorite player!
This past weekend was my mom's and also Frank's birthday and Walk For Hunger. He's legal before I am, booo. Since he rarely if ever comes to my blog anymore (but tracks my xanga zombies whereabouts daily....yeah I see your footprrints, don't act like you don't know), I'm going to plan out something for him for this Thursday night since Friday I'm all booked up (and every weekend til mid June -_-).
I also got to see some friends that I haven't seen in awhile this weekend, but the circumstances under which we were able to see one another were far from what I'd ever want..and that is all I would really care to say about that here. But as far as lows go, the past few days have constituted some of my lowest lows in my short life. My inexperience and sheltered life (only from certain experiences/events though) did not prepare me to deal with death, and I can only hope that I never get "used" to it, but rather learn to deal better and have a stronger heart.
A lot to look forward to this summer, which I will try to keep updated in here, but knowing me it'll probably be delayed. The nearest thing I'm looking forward to is turning 21 next week, though it's mostly excitement for being able to watch the playoffs at the bar and have a nice cold beer than anything else. <3
A handful of typical Asian touristy photo ops from the meetup last weekend:

Bulls/Celtics was a great series. I however wish the last game went to overtime again. Would have made it an epic finish.

I'm a little bummed KG's out, but at least his absence (among other factors, of course) prolonged a great series.
